Location Agent
Designs environment key art and background plates, ensuring consistency for all actions in a scene.
Overview
The Location Agent creates detailed environment descriptions and background art for each scene in the storyboard. It considers the story's setting, time of day, weather, mood, and the art style guide to design backgrounds that complement the narrative. Like the Character Agent, it uses consistency parameters to ensure that the same location looks identical when revisited in different scenes, maintaining visual continuity throughout the video. The agent generates environment concept art that serves as the backdrop for character placement. It handles multiple environment types — interiors (offices, homes, caves), exteriors (cities, forests, space), and abstract backgrounds (gradients, patterns, stylized landscapes). Each location includes lighting direction, atmospheric effects (fog, rain, dust), and depth layers (foreground, midground, background) for parallax rendering in the final video composition. The agent also considers narrative pacing — wide establishing shots for new locations, tighter framing for intimate dialogue scenes, and dynamic camera movements for action sequences — ensuring each environment serves the story's emotional arc.
