Step 5 of 9Cast Designer

Character Agent

Generates character model descriptions and consistency parameters, matching them to appropriate vocal profiles.

Overview

The Character Agent designs detailed character descriptions based on the script and storyboard. It defines physical appearance, clothing, facial features, and expression ranges for each character. Crucially, it also generates consistency parameters — mathematical representations that ensure the same character looks identical across different scenes and shots. It also matches each character to an appropriate TTS voice profile based on their personality and role in the story. The agent creates a character sheet for each role including front-facing reference images, expression variations (happy, sad, surprised, angry), and pose guidelines. Consistency parameters are encoded as seed values and style embeddings that image generation models use to reproduce the same character across multiple generations. Voice matching considers gender, age, accent, and emotional range to find the best TTS voice from the available catalog.
