Overview
The Storyboard Agent takes the script and style guide and produces a detailed shot-by-shot visual plan. For each scene, it defines camera angles (wide, medium, close-up, extreme close-up), character positions and movements, background elements, transitions between shots, and timing. This serves as the blueprint that the Character, Location, and Media agents use to generate the final visual assets. The agent applies cinematic principles like the rule of thirds, leading lines, and depth of field to create visually compelling compositions. It also considers pacing — using wider shots for establishing scenes and tighter close-ups for emotional moments. Each storyboard frame includes a text description, camera metadata, and an image generation prompt that downstream agents use to create the actual visuals. The agent also maps audio cues to visual beats — synchronizing narration emphasis with camera movements, aligning music crescendos with dramatic reveals, and coordinating sound effects with on-screen actions to create a cohesive audiovisual experience in the final rendered video.
